Does what it claims on the adnot positive how fantastic the traffic details is when compared to google maps but smart telephones dont do the job in areas typically when you re lost , gps does.

  I have the nuvi2598LMTD. It works with that but not as well as the original one I had which was stolen. The original one gave me up to date traffic on all roads. This one kept sending me to the M1 even though it was closed. There is a more expensive one available and that may be better.
• Does this come with the antenna extension cable?
  Yes definitely. It can be tucked behind trim and has a windscreen sucker.. Mine is very neat with only the transparent sucker showing in the top corner of the windscreen. Garmin recommend that the antenna is mounted vertically.

  Hi, I don't work for Garmin, but the LM denotes Lifetime Map updates, so the cable should be fine.

  It has worked for me but only once - advising me to change route when it got information about a traffic jam ahead. There have been plenty other occasions when that facility should have kicked in and didn't. Therefore although it has worked I have not found it good value for money

Does the task but cables pretty bulky and so tough to disguise. Can take its time picking up traffic. . I am many miles down the motorway (m5) just before it picks up traffic. Very good for a extensive journey but not quick more than enough responding for nearby rush hour excursions.

Even now have to use ta on the radio and google maps to find out the traffic speedily. But once it does decide up traffic will work effectively - reroutes correctly and so forth.
