Mio 5262N2750254 Review - Oh woe is me - where can I be ?????

I have not applied it a lot however, but it would seem to do what it truly is supposed to. I struggled a little bit with a route planner on a multi-end excursion but it truly is just a dilemma of actively playing with it a little bit.

Ok, but the miomore software instantly crashes. Unfortunately, while mio may be able to write satnav firmware they fail miserably at windows software. In order to install the lifetime map updates you have to use their windows-only application miomore. Unfortunately, the version of this included with the unit (7. 50) either instantly crashes on startup, or sometimes waits until i connect the satnav to my computer and then dies.

I've tried searching the mio website for updates to this application to no avail, and they don't even publish an email address - it appears the only way to get in touch is via facebook and twitteron top of that, you only get 30 days to redeem the "lifetime maps", and you can only do that by using this application. So while i'd give the satnav itself four stars, i can only give the "lm" edition the lowest possible rating because the "lifetime maps" part is completely unusable so far. If i haven't had a response from mio within the next week i'll have to return it as "not fit for purpose"i'll comment back here either way.
