Excellent camera for the motor vehicle i would endorse a quite great recording high quality 720p and 1080p.

From the box this has been quick to mount and use. The photograph appears extremely clear in most mild circumstances. I hope that i do not have to use any recorded footage from an incident.

I have two of these fitted to vehicles. I suggest you all check the files recorded; both of mine record many files that are unreadable. Even after updating the software having contacted mitac support. Which is why i'm getting rid of them and buying a different make.

Other than that critical problem, they are superb.

  Yes indeed you can set the screen to switch off when driving. If you can, download the operating manual and on page 13 it tells you to go the menu and to LCD settings. You can set the time before the screen goes blank and recording continues. Mine is set at 30 seconds. Hope this helps.
